Yes, I would call them to find out..
Pretty nice Thai food place, reasonable prices and friendly service.
It’s a good casual place for Thai food. Cheap price and lots of option!
Definitely got the flavours. I had the roast duck. Could have done with more duck. I told the waiter more veggies and he wrote No veggies. Sigh... I was looking forward to having more veggies. I thought perhaps the pickles were the veggies until I saw the note on the bill. Wiser for next time. Convenient location to nearby hostel. Good for solo travelers at night.
Delicious! When you're in town eating here is a must !
Fast service with fair prices. Portions are just right. Food is filled with fresh authentic flavors. I added shrimp, which was cooked perfectly, and crushed pepper for an extra kick.
Interesting location right where all the fancy stores are. Food are very similar to street food stall in Thailand. The portion is big and the price is around $11-12 per plate. I think the price is a little high but considering the location, I guess it is relative. Staffs are all business. Food are hot, good, and fast. I will definitely go back if I am in the area again.
The place was great. It was a nice place to stop when we needed to sober up a bit. The food was super delicious and the staff were fairly courteous. It's a huge plus being one of the only places open on our way home.
The food was good, but nothing special..Seating was ok, staff very friendlyBut this: Gratuity was added to our bill automatically! So be careful if you plan to tip, you might tip twice!
My order particularly had sweet noodles but you can go for the rice.Edit: Loved the second order No. 22. Rice and ground meat (pork & beef)
A nice thai restaurant in Union square, San Francisco. We ordered Chicken cashew from this place. It was really tasty, although it was a tad bit dry and a little less in portion to our liking. The restaurant was clean and tidy. The servers were really fast to bring our order to our table. I think it's a well priced restaurant. It's are really well located restaurant. It's just next to the historic cable car's track. So you can get down at Market Street or Union Square cable car stop and walk to this restaurant. There is paid street parking available in front of the restaurant. Overall, it's a good restaurant. You will definitely enjoy the meal here! This review was written to be helpful to you, the consumer, and, to also bring relevant information to the attention of the business in focus. Panang curry tasted good... but its chaotic!I placed a phone order 6:08 PM, telling staff I was 30 min away and the food was still not ready when I came in to pick it up at 6:48 PM.I was asked for my name and then was asked to sit down in a corner.A gal that came in later than me placed her order to go, got her food and left before I did. I called ahead and I felt mistreated.Waited around till 7:20 PM and then asked to speak with the manager. Was told that manager was not in.I was asked for my order id number. I never got one.My food was just sitting on the counter. They gave me my food right away.Inefficient and chaotic.
For the portion size the food is very expensive and tasteless. Try Les Ros for example for a better place.
Decent food. Good service. Good value for your money. Clean enough.
I'm not Thai, obviously, so I have no idea what real Thai is supposed to be like, but we loved this place. Great food, fast, friendly service, but didn't feel rushed at all. Good prices for downtown. We had the green curry and pad Thai, super good. Not a fancy atmosphere so if you are looking for that you may not like it here. We would definitely visit again.
Great staff services and always take care of customer needs. At first time, I was very impressed with fired rice with crab and Thai style of noodles. But the second time, I quietly missed the taste of fired rice with crab in the first time😭 I think the taste of the food depended on the chef in each time. By the way, if you like Thai food, it is okay to try out with this restaurant because the quantity of food and the price are reasonable!
Forgettable food. Reluctant service.King of Thai Noodles is not a destination restaurant. It’s not a place that answers the question, where do you want to go eat? After having visited, the answer to that question would be, not here. Flavorless crab fried rice with rice that’s too soggy. Pas se ew looked like it was made from leftover noodles. Deep fried shumai was dry and tasteless. If you don’t go for the food, you certainly would not be returning for the service. When they bring your orders, they stand there holding the food items until you’ve rearranged the table. This happened each time an order appeared. It’s not as if she’s holding more than that one dish. There staffs are annoyed when you asked for water. You will need to ask because they don’t check if you need refills. Checks are dumped on your table without regard whether it ends up on the table. When my credit card hit the floor, the waitress was already a few tables away.
Great wings. The restaurant was busy at 1140 lunchtime and we had to wait a good 30 minutes for 2 people but it was worth it. They didn't have green beans on the day I went. Didn't like the potstickers, not sure why other reviewers said it was good. Eggplant was alright. Star of the place must be the wings.
Aloha! They have the best Duck Over Rice. Friendly staff and helpful.
The hotel said this is where they refer folks for Thai food and recommend to guests wanting carry out. It is a wonderful small, local Thai restaurant. I enjoyed the pineapple fried rice. It was excellent tasting Thai food.
Not that good. I worse than my expectations. Actually, the taste of food is not that bad. But it's pretty small plates and super expensive compared with other Thai restaurants. Almost everything is started with 13 dollars (not included tax and tip yet) so, basically you will spend over 17 dollars. I don't think it's reasonable. There are pretty cheap and good restaurants in that same street. I didn't find any good reason to go there. But for only taste of food, i can give 3/5 stars.
Very popular Thai street food restaurant. There is always a line there so be prepared to spend 20 minutes in the street waiting. The food is very good.
I'm glad I finally stopped here. This place has the best larb moo of anywhere I've tried in the Bay Area. What really made it stand out was the use of dried peppers instead of fresh peppers. I've found that many of the Thai restaurants here in the bay use fresh peppers which is not traditional at all. I also tried the tom kha gai which was refreshing. Again they really nailed it. I've found many places in the USA put way too much sugar in the broth and this soup becomes unberably sweet. This one was perfectly balanced.
fast service and good tasty 😋 food too. A little bit expensive for me.
Pretty expensive for the portion of the food they offer.
The portion size was very large. The customer service impeccable. I would definitely visit again
I was there almost everyday when I stayed there. The duck rice is REALLY GOOOOOOD 5 stars for the duck rice. Ignore the presentation, it tasted REAL.
Vegetarian and vegan options! They are open super late until like 3 am. Great for really large groups, and their soup and curry is phenomenal! Perfect place to stop after spending a night out in the city. Service was also very nice, quick and attentive.
Good service, dishes main meals where prepared with a robust aromatic components and a spicy touch. There is a well blend of freshness and fragrance. The only lost star is for the rice, which wasn't on par with the rest.
My friend and I split a “Pad See-Ew” (without egg, since she was vegan). The portion size was good enough that we both ate a decent portion. I can’t help but feel rushed though as they asked for payment and cleared our plates having been there for only 30 minutes. The food tasted good, but there are better Thai restaurants in the city. This does happen to be in a very central and touristy location being in Powell, so that could explain their quick turnaround for tables (although at the time there were still a few tables open and no one really waiting to sit to eat).
Great Thai noodle joint. Love the Pad See Ew, Beef Noodle and Pad Thai. Highly recommended.
Good and tasty food. Served very fast with quality. Shrimp with bell pepper and onion saute was good
My best Thai dish place in US. No other restaurants serve crab meat fried rice better than here.
Came here because everything else was basically closed late at night. Everything on the menu from appetizer to entree were $14+Shared a bowl of coconut noodle soup which was quite large and very creamy. Literally tasted like coconut pasta at one point
Not fancy but a solid Thai restaurant. Stir fry chicken and basil was tasty but needed the spicy condiments for the right amount of heat. Service is quick. Good location right off of Union Square. Definitley worth a try if in the area.
Great flavors! The duck curry had more fat than meat, but it tasted great. Service was attentive and friendly.
food looks great and taste good when you are hungry. the worst thing was when we got our credit card bill the posted amount was way more than what we signed and paid for. they adjusted the tip amount to more than 20% of the tip guide and that was just so horrible.
This place isn’t quite worth it to go. I ordered chicken fried rice and extra vegetables. I got a slice of tomato, green onions, onions, baby corn, and mushrooms and a small piece of cabbage. Usually, fried rice has everything I say except mushrooms and baby corn; so that means they just put baby corn and mushrooms. When I got the bill they charged me $3 for the extra vegetables that I ordered. And the taste wasn’t good as well.
Nice genuine Thai food. Many choices of curry and noodles. Taste good although not the best Thai I’ve had. Service is good too. Tip is automatically include. Don’t be confused and add additional tip (unless y that’s what you really want).
Pad thai was good, seafood salad not so much. Busy place. Bit pricy for my standard but would be decent in san francisco.
I love the duck noodle soup here. The broth is full of spices and flavor. Totally recommend.
Delicious soups and pastas! Curry soup! A good spot to eat in San Francisco. Great service 👍 fun people and very popular place to eat in or take out.
This place was so delicious. My friend and I ended up splitting the green curry and the pad thai because they were both so good. I would definitely recommend eating here
Came here around 1 a.m. after a night out with friends. Ordered the #1 Beef Spoup and #24 Larb with Pork and Sticky Rice medium spicyness. Food came out fast and portions were good. Server was attentive, checked in on us, and refill our waters. Food was flavorful and overall service great.
Amazing amazing food. Totally lives up to the hype! Incoming all the way from Los Angeles to try out this Dry Fried Chicken and it was totally worth it!
We ordered Pad Kee Mao and Crispy Egg Noodle with Gravy Sauce. Initially, we were hesitating to go this restaurant after seeing some bad reviews. But we weren't disappointed. Excellent staff and service even though the place was pretty full on a Saturday evening. Noodles we ordered were tasty. Especially, Crispy Egg Noodle with Gravy Sauce on which we had little expectations, but it turned about to be good find. Foodies who like crispy noodle kind of stuff should try this. It's also not that pricey considering the area and other restaurants around. We will definitely return to this restaurant.
